⚒️CRAFTING MECHANICS
Crafting is a central aspect of Paradise Tycoon, allowing players to use materials gathered through foraging, collecting, or farming to create tools, appliances, or decorative items. These crafted items can be used personally, equipped by NFT crew members, exchanged for resources with NPC Traders, or traded with other players at the Auction Hall.
Blueprints: The Foundation of Crafting
To craft any item, players first need to find and learn a blueprint, which describes the required crafting materials. Sometimes Blueprints can have one base material that can be replaced with a different material to create items with varying appearances or improved stats. For example, a wooden shovel blueprint could be modified by replacing the wood with alien metal, resulting in a rare alien metal shovel with extraordinary attributes. This feature offers endless possibilities for crafting, as players can travel to the Outworld, stumble upon ultra-rare materials, and use them as base materials to create unique and powerful items like the rare alien metal shovel.
Blueprints can be acquired from NPC vendors, as rewards from Quests and Events, found by exploring the outworld or from one of the Houses.
The Five Houses
Paradise Tycoon features five distinct Houses, each specializing in teaching players the art of crafting different items in their unique domains. These Houses include:
House of Craftsmanship
House of Farmers
House of Chefs
House of Rangers
House of Alchemist
The House of Farmers, for instance, imparts players with the knowledge to craft farming-related items like Scythes, Watering Cans, and Clippers, among others. While it's entirely possible for players to achieve high ranks across multiple houses, mastering all of them is an uncommon feat. The choices players make can have lasting effects and underscore the significance of social interaction and trading within the game.
Workbenches: Crafting Stations
Before crafting items, players need to locate a workbench or build their own. A beginner-level workbench is available for free use at Port Ohana, or players can construct their own on their island. However, crafting rare, high-level items or engaging in NFT crafting may require an upgraded workbench that must be built by the player.
NFT Crafting: Mint Rare Items
Crafted items made with very rare and limited resources can be minted as NFTs, while lower rarity items are non-mintable. NFT items not only boast impressive stats but also feature unique appearances. These NFT items can be traded in-game or on third-party marketplaces, making them highly valuable and collectible.
